Roses is a MAGICAL town with a Mediterranean essence and a marked tourist and seafaring tradition. Located in a unique natural environment, in the north of the Costa Brava, it is less than 30 km from the French border, 65 km from Girona and 160 km from Barcelona. The large tourist centre, with urbanisations, hotels, beaches and two ports (fishing and marina) is an attractive place of great importance in the northern sector of the Costa Brava. The coastline of the municipality of Roses includes a long sandy beach. Roses is an active town all year round. Its offer of activities and attractions is very suggestive for all types of travellers. Driving a go-kart, enjoying a day at the water park, playing mini-golf, sailing on board the boats that make excursions to Cap de Creus and Cadaqués or taking a ride on the tourist train are just some of the possibilities that Roses offers for spending leisure time. A cultural heritage with magnificent historical and archaeological sites (Route of the megaliths, Citadel...).
